TODDLER CLASS

(AGES 2-3)
Learning through play, the toddlers are given many choices of different manipulatives and toys through out the day. They are exposed to art everyday either through a teacher lead art project or through toddler lead art. These art projects can be stamps, crayons/markers, paints, or even stickers. Participation is not forced but encouraged. We try our best to assist in potty training as much as possible with group trips to the bathroom. We take advantage of many learning opportunities whether it be puddle stomping in the rain or identifying shapes/colors/sounds on a walk. We believe toddlers learn best through play and life experiences.

  • 7:30AM ARRIVALS- Free play in gym
  • 9:00AM BATHROOM BREAK- Kids are taken to bathroom as a group
  • 9:10AM CIRCLE TIME- Attendance, calendar, songs, "How are you feeling today?" (identifying emotions on chart)
  • 9:30AM MORNING SNACK PROVIDED
  • 10:00AM BATHROOM BREAK
  • 10:20AM ART/PLAY STATIONS- Manipulative Stations, art project
  • 11:15AM OUTSIDE TIME- playground, chalk, walk, water play (weather permitting)
  • 12:00PM BATHROOM BREAK/LUNCH- Kids wash hands Before/After Lunch
  • 12:30PM WIND DOWN TIME- All kids meet on carpet for story time
  • 1:00PM NAP TIME- Teacher takes kids to bathroom
  • 3:30PM AFTERNOON SNACK PROVIDED- Kids wash hands before/after snack
  • 4:00PM BATHROOM BREAK
  • 4:15PM PLAY STATIONS/OUTSIDE- outside (weather permitting), duck duck goose/other games
  • 4:30-5:30PM BATHROOM BREAK/PICK UPS- Outside, stations in gym
